The Opportunity - About the Role
Be part of the highly regarded Queensland Civil and Infrastructure Project Management team based on the Sunshine Coast with exposure across Stockland’s Communities and Industrial portfolios. In this role, you will provide specialist Civil Project Management expertise throughout the project life cycle and be part of a team delivering unique and challenging projects. You will use your strong communication skills to navigate a broad stakeholder group to achieve business outcomes.
Your main responsibilities, will involve but will not be limited to:
- Manage civil projects end-to-end, ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery
- Develop and execute multi-stage delivery strategies using specialist project management tools
- Lead procurement and delivery of civil, electrical, and landscape construction aligned with project timelines
- Drive operational improvements by sharing best practices across teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage cost plans and identify savings opportunities
- Provide technical support to development teams and contribute to delivery planning
- Ensure proactive communication and reporting on key project milestones
- Oversee compliance with environmental, cultural heritage, and other development obligations
About you
Ideally coming from client- side, contractor, consultancy, landscaping, architecture, or superintendent background, or similar construction experience. You will have relevant Project Management experience with a strong understanding of civil construction works. You will have great time-management skills and a go-getter attitude, ready to jump straight into the projects and help drive better outcomes
In addition you will have the following skills experience and qualifications:
- A sound understanding and demonstrated experience in procurement and the contract administration of Australian Standard construction contracts or modified versions of.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills that engage all parties, you will act collaboratively and possess exceptional stakeholder management abilities building and maintaining strong relationships
- Preferability you will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field of Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical) or Construction Management where you will have a well-established background in
