Where you’ll work:

Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person. 

Ideally this role will be based at either our London or Bristol hub, however you'll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

This role in a nutshell:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their journey in Reward to join our People team. This is a role that offers immediate exposure to the Head of Reward and Reward Leads to provide support in the administration, communication and project coordination of all aspects of Total Reward across compensation and benefits. 

Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will support the Reward Leads in the delivery of a number of cyclical and ad-hoc projects throughout the reward lifecycle. 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Processing of benefits tasks related to the monthly benefit/pension cycle:, Payroll reporting, opening of selection windows, external provider processing & reporting.
  • Maintaining accuracy of Invoice trackers in conjunction with the Reward Leads
  • Maintaining the content on our flexible benefit platform (Darwin) in line with feedback internally and policy changes externally. 
  • Supporting the Reward leads with cyclical & ad hoc projects - Annual Window, Pension Re-enrolment, Pay Review, Bonus, Gender Pay Gap reporting and Equal Pay audits.
  • The champion of OVO’s new joiner onboarding events from a benefit & wellbeing perspective. 
  • Creating and owning the yearly reward activity calendar with support from Reward leads: capturing and tracking progress against cyclical and adhoc projects and BAU activity.
  • Supporting our people & People Services teams with front line queries raised through AskOVO. 
  • Supporting the reward leads with job evaluation, data analysis and the continuous review and improvement of current processes.  
  • Survey submission - Radford, WTW and adhoc pulse surveys
  • Providing comms and engagement support to the reward team, particularly for the cyclical reward activities e.g. the annual pay review, bonus review and benefits windows.
  • Providing support on data governance / data cleanse ahead of cyclical reward activities

Systems: Experience with Darwin, Jira and Workday are preferable, but not essential 

You’ll be a successful Total Reward Coordinator at OVO if you…

  • Are passionate about developing in Total Reward and understanding the total reward lifecycle.
  • Are comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders across Reward, coordinating and prioritising projects and providing updates on status of work.
  • Have positive determination and the tenacity to find a way through complex situations and someone who loves finding ways to better things - a real problem solver!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and employees.

We’ll pay you between £31,880 and £35,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
