The role

We’re looking for an organised, proactive problem-solver who can support our content team to deliver exceptional value at pace across a range of products and formats. As the delivery manager, you will:

• Work with our team of editorial leads, content writers and producers, sub-editors and instructional designers to ensure our resources are delivered on time and in full
• Support with strategic resource planning and allocation
• Oversee our publication and production pipelines and processes, troubleshooting delays where necessary, and making recommendations for process improvements
• Support with budget tracking and reporting
• Act as a point of contact for the wider business regarding enquiries about team resource

You would support projects including:

• Core editorial delivery for our libraries of digital school leadership and governance advice and resources
• E-learning development and delivery
• Content production for live, remote training events/workshops

This is a part-time role. We’re looking for someone who can work for at least a few hours every day, but we are open to discussing exact working patterns.

Requirements

The ideal person

You will have:

• Excellent project management skills, evidenced by at least 2 years in a project or delivery management role
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to have difficult conversations about deadlines and resourcing in a tactful and sensitive manner
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a decisive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• A track record of working collaboratively with team leads to ensure the work of the team aligns with strategic priorities

It would be nice if you:

• Have an interest in the education sector
• Have experience working with digital publishing or content teams
• Are familiar with some of the tools we use day-to-day, including:
• Asana
• Google workspace suite
• Slack
• Content management systems (CMSs)
