About the Role...
As the Director of IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing Valo Health’s IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of IT and IS, you will act as a subject matter expert for core IT services, overseeing AWS, Azure, and Office 365 infrastructure. You will ensure the efficient operation and security of key applications, including Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, Zoom, Okta, SharePoint, Power Automate, Azure AD, OneDrive, and other approved platforms.
In this position, you will provide technical expertise, address complex IT challenges, support employees with timely issue resolution, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and service levels within the IT department.
What You'll Do...
- Serve as System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for core platforms, including Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, Okta, Zoom, and OneDrive.
- Maintain security, reliability, and performance of Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 systems in a hybrid environment.
- Collaborate with the IT Security team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the O365/Azure environment.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, including domains, policies, transport rules, and licensing.
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (AD), Okta, and on-premises Active Directory systems.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform PowerShell scripts for automation, bulk modifications, and reporting within the AD environment.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for Service Desk escalations.
- Oversee Microsoft Security & Compliance processes, including Office patch management, email tracing, and reporting.
- Monitor third-party email security solutions, including anti-spam and anti-virus tools.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of Valo Health’s hosted Microsoft and AWS environments.
- Assess business needs and contribute to the design, architecture, and integration of Microsoft online products and services.
- Develop and implement future strategies for Microsoft 365 and AWS infrastructure.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem isolation to ensure a stable IT environment.
What You Bring...
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Okta, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive administration.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent technical training.
