InfuSystem offers Oncology, Pain Management and Wound Care therapies, including Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. The company’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services are composed of direct payer rentals, pump and consumable sales, and biomedical services and repair, including on-site and depot services. InfuSystem provides the sale, rental, lease and associated supplies, including infusion pumps, nerve blocks for acute pain, nerve block catheters, postoperative pain pumps, central venous catheters, IV pumps, pole-mounted pumps, syringe pumps, enteral pumps, Huber needles, clean room supplies, IV extension tubing, pump tubing, ambulatory pumps, replacement pumps, disposable products, central venous access devices, closed system transfer devices, negative pressure wound therapy vacs, wound vac, and chemotherapy and oncology infusion pumps. Biomedical services include both on-site and depot preventive maintenance, repair and warranty services, ranging from equipment inspections to extensive repairs, including compression device systems, defibrillators, EKG machines, electrosurgical units, external pacemakers, humidifiers, infusion pumps, LCDs, light sources, modules, patient monitors, printers, pulse oximeters, telemetry transmitters and tourniquets – all completed to factory specifications.

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Regional VP of Oncology Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for servicing assigned customer accounts and working with the Territory Manger to grow and maintain territories. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all paperwork, pumps, and supplies, while improving pump utilization and billable treatments, and providing superior levels of customer service.
Certain hospitals, clinics and other medical centers now require InfuSystem to provide proof of vaccinations prior to entering their facilities. Your role may require proof of vaccination in order for us to receive the accreditation credentials needed to effectively service our customers.
IN THIS ROLE, THE CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be responsible for the non-clinical services included with the InfuSystem Outpatient Ambulatory Pump Program. Which include ambulatory pump inventory, ordering supplies and coaching facility staff to submit required patient information within approximately 100 to 200 outpatient oncology practices.
- Coach facility staff to improve workflow issues with patient information, ambulatory infusion pumps inventory, and supply inventory within assigned geography
- Function as an initial point of contact and escalate clinical issues via internal process as needed
- Promote New Product Initiatives within assigned active accounts
- Reside within the territory
- Travel within territory
- Collaborate with co-workers to achieve monthly shared sales/process goals
- Provide top-quality service to customers by managing deployed pump fleet at each facility
- Identify and rectify patient information issues with customers
- Monitor usage of supplies and other consumables (e.g., IV sets) at appropriate accounts
- Communicate with team members daily
- Research and answer customers’ inquiries and requests regarding Infusystem products and services
- Handle customer complaints and find solutions
- Produce and submit reports as requested by Infusystem Management team
- Average 20-25 site visits per week to active accounts within 3 to 4 route days with 1 to 2 Office Days
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Nursing from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ Years of Account Management Experience (preferred)
COMPENSATION PLAN OUTLINE:
- Position includes a base salary, monthly bonuses based on performance to key metrics, new product commissions based on performance, car allowance, .22 per mile driven, 401k, cell phone allowance, employee stock purchase plan, medical & dental benefits.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to travel approximately 40% of the time with overnights
