Work Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday, normal business hours, extended hours as needed.

Responsible for working closely with hiring managers to deliver recruiting success by filling approved job opportunities through sourcing, researching, screening and interviewing potential candidates.  Development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting methods. Utilize the sourcing tools with which Heritage Valley contracts.  Engage social media platforms to attract candidates and promote the advantages of employment with Heritage Valley. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all steps of the employment process.  Acts as liaison to hiring managers to serve as a consultant in all hiring decisions.  Facilitates all phases of the onboarding process and employee orientation program.  In addition to recruiting responsibilities, works closely with other HR representatives on matters pertaining to compensation, benefits, training/ development and employee relations to ensure accurate employee information/records and assist with process improvement.  This position also provides support and assistance for other projects and programs in Human Resources as necessary.



Requirements
Bachelors degree with a focus on Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 3 years current experience in a recruiting and/or generalist role with a broad understanding of HR functions.  A combination of education and experience will be considered.  Experience with social media platforms and how they can be professionally used for recruitment purposes including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  Solid understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations.  Must possess professional and effective communication skills to work with managers, employees, external applicants, and community representatives.  Strong organizational skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point required.

Preferred
Hospital/healthcare recruiting experience. Experience in a collective bargaining environment. Master's degree in Human Resources a plus.
