THE ROLE: Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you’ll support the SVP and Director of Product on various projects and initiatives to further enhance our TeenVoice strategic goals. The right candidate will be responsible for the relationship management of EvolveMe’s existing content providers and creating a pipeline of new providers. This role will involve procuring impactful educational content for EvolveMe, onboarding/offboarding partners and activities within the EvolveMe digital platform, evaluating new market opportunities, and providing key insights to product development and sales for EvolveMe and TeenVoice areas of improvement.
Cross collaboration will be key in liaising with internal stakeholders for devising an EvolveMe content strategy, creating regular partner check ins, and achievement against overall P&L goals and teen utilization.
What You’ll Do:
Relationship Management
- Clearly and convincingly illustrate the EvolveMe and TeenVoice mission and vision while identifying critical business outcomes for the content partners and EvolveMe.
- Drive initial content partner conversations by leveraging an existing network and/or establishing creative ways to identify and engage with prospective new content partners.
- Prepare presentations, KPI reports, proposals, and agreements. Ability to negotiate a win-win arrangement for both EvolveMe and the content partner. Actively solicit case studies and testimonials from content partners.
- Prepare and manage all content partner contracts through product, legal approval, signature and renewal.
- Provide best in class service as the primary point of contact for current and prospective content partners and establish/maintain relationships over the duration of the partner contract.
- Actively manage content partners through our CRM. Maintain accurate account records and summaries.
- Develop and maintain a strategic account plan for each assigned partnership that identifies the partner business overview, key strategic objectives and how their activities are a good fit for driving teen engagement and learning outcomes.
- Where possible help to identify potential TeenVoice research revenue opportunities within content partner accounts. Where appropriate, involve the TeenVoice sales team and research team to close the sale directly or formally transfer the opportunity to sales for further qualification.
Product Operations
- Plan and manage the onboarding and offboarding of content partners and/or their activities.
- Create an annual content plan for the activities needed to ensure a robust learning environment for teens that align with strategic goals.
- Use the EvolveMe operational processes to add or subtract the activities from the platform. This includes content management within a commercial CMS and the ability to articulate to the content partner the required APIs needed to integrate activities.
- Evaluate and adjust reward points on the platform to ensure a balance between paid TeenVoice surveys, educational activities, and gift card redemptions.
- Run QBR reports for the content partner and provide regular EvolveMe platform KPIs to the TeenVoice and EvolveMe management.
About You:
- 5-10 years of experience in account management or business development preferably within an educational technology organization, teen content platform, or SaaS business. Experience with market research services and tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of digital content formats. Strong preference given to experience with educational content that is applicable to a 13-19 y/o teen audience. This includes topics and expected educational outcomes.
- Superior communication skills are mandatory. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management including senior leaders. Success influencing up, down and across an organization; influencing without authority.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize own work, set and meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding track record of managing large scale partnerships. Must be able to create and present partnership overviews, proposals and develop plans for execution.
- Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Hubspot. Working knowledge of commercial and open-source CMS platforms such as Strapi and Directus. Ability to understand basic technical integration components and facilitate any partner problem resolution.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
