Position Summary:
Great things are happening at the T. Marzetti Horse Cave Campus and as we continue to grow the T. Marzetti Company is looking to hire team members who will grow with us on our journey towards world-class operational excellence. The position of Warehouse Manager directs and manages all warehousing operations, including receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers or producers to ensure raw materials and/or other supplies are stored, located and distributed to the proper departments in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Assures quality and safety while achieving established goals and objectives.

- Maintains the highest standard of Safety for all functions on an ongoing basis and ensures compliance for self and others to OSHA standards.
- Performs daily inspection of all PPE required including but not limited to SLIP-RESISTANT/STEEL-TOED SHOES, safety glasses, gloves, shields and aprons to ensure good overall condition of items that provide optimal personal safety & protection while working in the facility.
- If required for assigned tasks, successfully acquires and maintains Lock Out-Tag Out Certification for machine and safely performs all functions in accordance to OHSA and company requirements and standards.
- As required, performs daily inspection of any applicable power equipment with proper documentation.
- As a member of the T. Marzetti Company, completes his/her Behavior Based Safety Observations (BBSO), corrects issues when identified, and participates in problem solving.

- Leads and promotes a strong Food Safety Culture within the facility
- Completes his/her Behavior Based Quality observations (BBQs), corrects issues when identified and participates in problem solving.
- Ensures compliance with quality, Food Safety Preventive Control (FSPC), FSMA, Food Defense, OSHA and other support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.
- Reviews, understands, and complies with all applicable SOPs containing Process or Preventive Control monitoring or verification, if trained and designated as a Qualified Individual (QI).
- Communicates any concerns related to product safety, integrity, quality and legality to management or to the confidential hotline if the need for anonymity is necessary.

- Promotes integrity, respect, accountability, continuous improvement and positive interactions with all Team Members, customers & vendors.
- Coordinates overall warehousing activities through planning and communication with supervisors to ensure all shipping and receiving & production warehousing objectives are accomplished in a timely, cost-effective and safe manner.
- Develops KPI metrics and controls plans and budgets for the warehouse area.
- Coordinates the preventative maintenance program for warehouse equipment, ensuring that both preventative maintenance programs and repairs are completed to maintain the equipment in an efficient, safe operating condition.
- Monitors storage racking, tanks, and other structures to ensure the safe storage of all materials.
- Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse to prevent spoilage or outdated product or material.
- Controls and minimizes overtime labor costs, maintenance costs, out-of-stock, and receiving/shipping selection errors.
- Coordinates with other department managers to ensure proper purchasing, processing, packaging, accounting and inventory control activities and procedures.
- Monitors the unloading of all materials being received to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies with plant accounting regarding invoices/packing slips/receiver reports/inventory levels.
- Responsible for meeting established warehouse objectives and controls and minimizes the overtime labor costs, maintenance / repair costs and equipment downtime.
- Responsible for & maintains positive employee, corporate and community relations along with appropriate interface with customer service, vendors & contractors.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, inclusive of Federal, State, and Local requirements while maintaining proper records and upholding facility responsibilities.
- Partner with HR to build strong employee relations while adhering to company policies, managing department attendance according to policy and procedures, taking proper and judicious disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Build relationships with customer service, corporate support, senior leadership, and any other key stakeholders as necessary.
- Manage warehouse P&L. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to maintain optimal stock.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Resolve escalated issues related to order accuracy, delivery delays, or inventory discrepancies.
- 8-10 years’ experience in warehousing environment, food manufacturing and warehousing preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience as a proven leader.
- Working knowledge of receiving, warehouse and material handling operations, methods and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately work with confidential information and situations and manage correspondence.
- Positive leadership and self-motivation skills.
- Must be able to successfully obtain industrial truck and lift operating certification and safely maintain per company and OSHA standards. 
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking.
- SAP or ERP equivalent system experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing effective staffing, scheduling, budgets, equipment mechanical processes with proven troubleshooting and resolution aptitude.
- Ability to read & interpret written & verbal direction while working in a safe, effective & productive manner within a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Business management and Logistics or related field preferred

- Works in an office and manufacturing environment where the Team Member is regularly required to speak, read, and comprehend, stand, walk, reach, lift, grasp, climb, and bend while working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to push/pull 75 pounds short distances.
- Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Stand for up to 12 hours with regular breaks.
- May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
- The employee is regularly exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and non-toxic industrial waste and scrap.
- SLIP-RESISTANT/Steel-toed SHOES, Earplugs, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets (if facial hair exists) are required to be worn/used in accordance with company GMP and Safety standards. Condition of these items must be inspected by employee daily and be replaced when no longer providing the optimal protection of the Team Member.
