As Distribution & Partnerships Manager you will be part of the regional Distribution & Partnerships team and will contribute directly to the success and growth of SkyShowtime in Spain and Portugal. You will be responsible for supporting with starting and successfully closing the negotiations of new direct-to-consumer non-traditional partnership deals and for ensuring successful executions working together with the Marketing, Legal, Finance and Product teams. You will also have ownership of the day-to-day commercial relationships to nurture and grow those partnerships.
 
You will support of the regional Distribution & Partnerships wider team by researching and keeping track of MVPD and streaming industry trends. You will also develop financial models, draft engaging sales pitches and support the Commercial team strategy to successfully deliver our B2B objectives for the region. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Distribution & Partnerships team in achieving revenue targets, subscriber volumes, and business objectives across the three key B2B pillars: MVPDs, Pay TV Linear Channels, and Non-Traditional partnerships.
  • Conduct distribution-related analyses, prepare commercial proposals, and create presentations to support internal deal approvals.
  • Produce financial models considering KPIs such as ARPU, CPS, LTV, CAC, etc.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities with current partners by providing actionable insights based on subscriber reports, sales numbers, financial performance, content consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate closely with other regional Distribution & Partnerships team members and various business areas to successfully launch or nurture partner relationships.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with the support of the legal team, considering inputs from Finance, Product, Marketing, and other relevant departments.
  • Monitor and analyse TV market trends, MVPD packages and pricing changes, competition, and regulations that could influence our commercial strategy.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as collecting and processing monthly subscriber data and providing billing information to the Finance teams.
  • Contribute to modelling revenue forecasts for the region and provide regular updates.
  • Produce management and partners reports.

What you'll bring

  • Comprehensive and demonstrable experience and network in the media industry in Southern Europe, particularly in Spain and Portugal, with a strong understanding of the regional media landscape.
  • Strong and resilient commercial mindset with a proven ability to translate strategic and commercial insights into successful business results.
  • Experience preparing business plan modelling, sales revenue forecasts and develop compelling sales decks.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships.
  • Commercial experience with excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong commercial strategy, analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Business oriented approach with a hands-on attitude. Ability to adapt rapidly and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment, across multifunctional and international teams.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
