Bulley & Andrews Masonry Restoration - BAMR LLC
Position Summary
The Project Engineer, under direct supervision, assists in all aspects of project management including, estimating, coordination of cost control, scheduling, reporting and document control activities. Assists in supporting positive client relationships. This position will include both office and field time, and some travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Supports day to day activities for a project.
- Assists in the estimating efforts for a potential project.
- Support subcontract awards and scope review process. Collaborates with SPMs and PMs for major awards.
- Responsible for and collaborates with the PM for the RFI and submittal process.
- Assists with the change management process in collaboration with PM or SPM.
- Participates in subcontractor pre-construction meetings.
- Participates in OAC meetings and is responsible for drafting meeting minutes.
- Supports, implements, and tracks overall project schedule
- Reports to PM and SPM regarding major issues relating to schedule, changes, field quality control, and production tracking.
- Establishes protocol and monitors all subcontractor communication.
- Supports all project start up processes.
- Sets up process for online project management software and/or Procore.
- Works hand in hand with project superintendent for all field-related issues.
- Assists with the payment application process.
- Ensures all updated document changes and updates are distributed to project team.
- Works hand in hand with SPM and PM to track the permitting process.
- Oversees the close out documents process (O&M Manuals).
- Assists with punch list completion and tracking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred). General knowledge of construction principles preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Must be adaptable, a self-starter and results-oriented.
