The Commercial Operations function connects the world of sales and finance globally serving an important function within Pega. As a leader of the Commercial Operations Team, you will report directly to our Sr. Director of Commercial Operations and manage our global client contract function. Your role will also provide you with the opportunity to support change initiatives to scale operations and meet Pega’s strategic goals.

As a leader of the Commercial Operations Team, you are responsible for mission-critical contract lifecycle operations and manage a global team to meet the goals of the function. You and your team will work day-to-day with Sales, Business Officers/Legal, Cloud Operations, and various Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely management of commercial agreements with new and existing clients. You will also be responsible for articulating and implementing improvements to processes and systems to advance the function and to meet Pega’s strategic goals.
What You'll Do at Pega:
• Manage a team of associates globally providing operational services and managerial oversight
• Ensure Commercial Operations meets performance goals by monitoring Key Performance Indicators, proactively addressing any issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, bringing Pega’s values to life
• Help shape the larger change roadmap for the function and prioritize resource allocation to support change initiatives that support Pega’s growth and strategic objectives
Who You Are:
You are a dependable, process-minded professional who has a sense of urgency and a strong drive to succeed and deliver results. You have a passion for achieving operational success and enjoy solving business problems.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7+ years business experience in operational roles and/or project management
• Solid experience in operations: both achieving current performance expectations and supporting the improvement of business processes
• Leadership and management capabilities to ensure team members are performing, engaged, and developing
• Ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement
• Financial awareness, analytical capability
• Communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration within the team as well as cross-functionally
• High energy, self-starter, possessing a hands-on work ethic, the ability to learn quickly, and the desire to continue to learn
• Ability to work independently with some level of direction
