WHO WE ARE: 

The Marketing Creative team is responsible for all assets across digital, print and OOH marketing, social media, and photography. We're a diverse group of creatives coming from all sorts of backgrounds. We pride ourselves on being funny and innovative in order for us to create magical experiences for dogs and their people. We don't take ourselves too seriously and love finding inspiration in unexpected places. 

WHO WE’RE SNIFFIN’ FOR: 

We're seeking a motivated digital designer who's eager to grow their skills while leveraging AI tools. You will execute an array of ad suites, emails, and marketing deliverables for our dog-obsessed toy and food divisions, and much more! You must be a creative collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional digital design skills, and obviously must love dogs! 

KEY DUTIES: 

• Design and deliver creative advertising content, with a strong focus on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) paid social ad formats, email, web, and storytelling for existing customers
• Collaborate with strategy leads and internal Art and Copy teams to develop outstanding creative campaign materials 
• Develop and test different creative executions, iterate and bring learnings into each new creative assignment 
• Work closely with Creative and Art Directors to further develop the expression of our unique brand voice in the world
• Manage design quality throughout all phases of a project 
• Speak articulately and collaborate with digital marketing team members, content writers, and developers 

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of experience in digital design for marketing
• Strong layout and typography skills 
• Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma required 
• Curiosity about and experience with AI creative tools is required
• Experience and/or interest in motion graphics is a plus! 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Have a portfolio of successfully launched work that demonstrates an exceptional eye for modern design 
• Be organized, work gracefully under pressure, and switch between projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience with image generation tools like Nano Banana, Midjourney, Sora, and others a strong plus
• Ability to translate business insights into creative execution 
• Excellent collaboration skills 
• Ridiculous sense of humor required

This position is a full-time position at our office in New York three days per week. We offer health insurance for both you and your pup, 401k, wonderful team lunches, cold brew on tap, and a dog to pet anytime you wish. 

FOR NJ/NY BASED APPLICANTS: 

• The base salary range for the Designer position is $80,000- $95,000
• This position is eligible for equity 

**This compensation range is based on BARK's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay for this position will depend on a variety of variables including location, travel, internal equity, experience, education, skills, and expertise.
