Message from the Hiring Manager:
We are looking for a proven business leader to drive P&L accountability, strategic growth, and operational excellence across our Consumer Business Unit. This role is critical to achieving our growth aspirations through integrated leadership of sales, marketing, product development, and portfolio management within the business unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the business unit strategy in alignment with corporate objectives, balancing short-term performance with long-term growth.
Identify market opportunities and develop go-to-market plans to accelerate revenue and market share expansion.
P&L Ownership
Full accountability for business unit revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
Develop and deliver annual operating plans, budgets, and long-range strategic initiatives.
Commercial Excellence
Lead sales, marketing, and market development teams to drive commercial success.
Expand market share, enter new channels, and capture new opportunities through innovative strategies.
Clinical & Regulatory Oversight
Oversee execution of clinical studies and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, EU MDR, etc.).
Partner with regulatory and quality teams to sustain approvals and readiness for audits.
Operations & Supply Chain
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, HR, and the Executive Leadership Team to support product launches, sustain compliance, and deliver on customer commitments.
Talent Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop functional leaders across sales, marketing, and product development.
Build and retain a high-performing, succession-ready team capable of scaling with the business.
External Partnerships
Build strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, health systems, and external partners to strengthen the company’s market position.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Leverage analytics, CRM insights, and financial dashboards to track performance, improve decision-making, and ensure accountability across the organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
BS/BA degree with exceptional business experience (MBA preferred).
12+ years of progressive business leadership experience (healthcare not required).
2+ years in P&L management role with full business unit accountability.
5+ years in leadership within health technology with direct-to-consumer focus.
Experience at small / mid-sized company ($20M - $200M revenue) with high growth environment.
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
Demonstrated success building high-performance teams in growth environments
