PURPOSE
Plan, organize, control and direct operations and activities involved in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all Tech Coordinator assignments; coordinate and direct the research, collection, processing, analysis, interpretation and reporting of assessment data in the evaluation of the educational effectiveness of educational programs, operations and instructional activities; supervise students, demonstrating a firm belief in the District’s Moral Purpose.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer an Indiana Teaching License and be an FWCS employee with strong planning, listening, organizational, supervisory, analytical, problem-solving, computer, accountability, multi-tasking, flexibility, resourcefulness, and oral and written communications skills.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must possess knowledge of the comprehensive organization, operations, policies and objectives of assigned department or area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide leadership for integration of technology instruction.
- Inventory and track all technology in the building.
- Train and assist teachers in technology use in the classroom.
- Assist teachers with technology problems and issues; hold teachers accountable for appropriate care and usage of technology.
- Maintain computer labs, mobile laptop labs, and iPad/computer carts.
- Set up and run technology for programs/meetings/events held at the school.
- Disseminate information from district to staff and administrators and assist in implementation of district initiatives.
- Foster an environment of safety, trust, and collaboration with staff and students in integrating technology.
- Coordinate technology in building determining location and usage.
- Ensure technology is functioning appropriately, trouble-shooting before contacting other resources.
- Possess basic computer skills and willingness to learn and implement new programs.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator to meet the particular needs of the building/unit

- Outdoor Work: Tolerance of work outside in various weather conditions.
