Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Healthcare IT/Infrastructure Project Manager role for our client.

 

Location: Remote (candidates must be within a 2-hour radius in case onsite presence is required)
Duration: 7 months

 

Duties:

  • Plan, execute, and manage healthcare IT projects from initiation through completion.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT staff, vendors, and third-party consultants.

  • Track and report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, manage change requests, and maintain project documentation.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation processes.

  • Manage vendor relationships and hold them accountable to service level agreements and timelines.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to create detailed documentation for complex projects.

  • Consensus-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage advanced-level projects and coach team members.

  • Skilled in presenting project status and PMO initiatives to IS and/or hospital leadership.

  • Trusted business partner to project sponsors and stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a healthcare environment focused on infrastructure.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and clinical/technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with budget, schedule, and resource management for medium-to-large projects.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
