Overview:Salary and Benefits:
A young, growing, TriBeCa-based family of five is searching for a weekend nanny to join their team. The schedule is live-out Friday to Sunday from 7am until 7pm. There is travel to Martha's Vineyard and The Hampton's at times. There are 3 young children and you will be working alongside another nanny. The role will start asap.
Responsibilities:- A-Z childcare for 3 young children in tandem with another caregiver
- Keep the home tidy- there is a housekeeper who will handle deep cleaning, but the goal is for the nanny to help keep their home generally tidy and organized
- Cooking and laundry are necessities- preparing healthy snacks and meals.
- Light housekeeping and laundry for the family, kitchen maintenance
- Household tasks and errands (organizing groceries, unboxing packages, taking inventory of supplies, etc.)
- Travel when needed
- Driving when needed
- Active and energetic, and able to keep up with young children
- Intellectually curious with the desire to really interact with the children
- Firm and kind with the ability to enforce boundaries
- Nurturing and loving
- Mature and seasoned with common sense- both parents have demanding jobs and need someone who can come in and handle the household
- Looking for a long-term commitment with a great family
- A valid driver's license and clean record (the family will provide a car for work use)
- Ability to swim
- Willing to work in a busy household with family members present
- Ability to work WEEKENDS
- Experience working with multiple preschool/toddler aged children
- Ability to travel
- $40 per hour gross
