POSITION SUMMARY
The Guest Experience Ambassador is responsible for welcoming guests as they arrive at the Broward Center and The Parker, ensuring that each guest experiences a memorable and grand sense of arrival. Ambassadors assist guests in navigating the campus and proactively engage with them at various locations, including the parking garage, sidewalks, plaza, entry doors, and lobby area, to create a welcoming atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Deliver a warm and welcoming presence, demonstrating eagerness to engage and assist all guests on campus.
- Help guests locate events, activities, transportation, parking, and food and beverage hospitality options.
- Direct guests to appropriate resources, such as the box office, ushers, security, lounges, special events, and functions as needed.
- Anticipate the needs of guests and answer their questions promptly and accurately.
- Promote the facilities and offerings of the Broward Center, encouraging guests to return and further engage with the center.
- Assist in coordinating events on campus as assigned.

- Maintain a physical presence at the designated work location both indoors and outdoors, with regular attendance, punctuality, and a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Demonstrate high energy and effective, empathetic people skills.
- Exhibit a positive attitude that draws people in.
- Enjoy and thrive in an environment that includes evening and weekend performances, as well as occasional travel.
