What is a day in the life of a Retail Data Analyst?
Collaborate with the ecommerce management team to align goals with the internal ambitions set by our partners
Oversee end-to-end business project solutions, leveraging data-driven insights to align with ecommerce growth objectives
Advanced capabilities in Excel, SQL, Python with strong visual reporting skills; building interactive Streamlit apps with deployment
Extensive experience with Amazon, ad and brand strategy, or overall ecommerce growth management
Exceptional analytical abilities, preferably within ecommerce In-depth understanding of online marketing metrics (CPA, CPM, CPC, LTV)
Maintain partner brand relationships by presenting analyses and joining regular external meetings
Strong analytical, data-driven mindset, and a good overall intuition for numbers and data
What will I need to thrive in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related program
5+ years of experience in retail analytics
Demonstrable Excel knowledge, data analysis, and problem solving skills
Prior experience in managing client relationships and communicating with key internal & external partners
Knowledge and experience with Snowflake, Tableau, and Github
Experience working with large keyword portfolios
Proven success in process improvement, creative problem solving, and business strategy
Demonstrable quickness in learning new things and an ambitious attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Working history with the Amazon advertising and brand platform and third party tools like Helium 10, Pacvue, Viral Launch, etc.
Knowledge of advanced auto-bid tools, such as Marin or DS3Skills in web analytics and relevant attribution models
Project management & scrum experience
Experience building Streamlit apps
Experience building automations and outlining workflows
Experience in retail revenue strategy

30 Days - you have your team schedule and structure established with regular 1:1s, you build strong relationships with team members, brand managers, and brand partners
60 Days - you manage projects and work directly with advertising & account executive team members to gauge feedback on the solutions you’ll help create
90 Days - you can independently take an analytics solution from start to finish while evaluating the performance of a solution over time to measure impact
What is the team like?
You will work with the other Associate Directors, Directors, VP’s and other analysts on the team and be supervised by the Director of AI Automations. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
