As the Accounts Team Leader within our business you will lead your team members to deliver service excellence throughout the Plan Management life cycle, including invoice processing and approval, invoice and reimbursement resolution, manual claim submission and NDIS funds claiming.
This role will be responsible for managing invoice turnaround timelines, KPIs and service levels, while maintaining a strong focus on the continuous improvement of processes to meet the needs and expectations of our customers and the business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts team to deliver fast and efficient plan
management services to customer and service providers. - Provide daily workforce planning measures to retain optimal processing times.
- Use sophisticated oral and written communication skills to manage escalated negotiations
and challenging discussions with internal and external stakeholders. - Lead, inspire and motivate team members with regular review of performance, provision of
feedback and understanding of personal circumstances. - Ensure payments are processed in compliance with NDIS Operational guidelines.
- Process daily claims from the NDIA Systems to ensure payment to the provider or
customers. - Ensure the quality maintenance of customer and provider records by the team with regular
proactive review of the team member scorecards to ensure compliance to the NDIS and
Business standards as directed by the team leader. - Proactively refining and improving processes to improve payment efficiency.
- Collaborate with operational team leaders to proactively deliver service excellence with
consistency and efficiency. - Maintain relationships and SLAs with external vendors for invoicing services.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- An intimate understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- The ability to lead, supervise and develop an engaged team,
including experience with performance management processes. - Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions, tasks and
activities. - Demonstrated high level of organisational skills including the
capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines. - Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a team during
periods of organisational change. - Proven experience supporting a diverse group of clients with an established
commitment to service excellence
