About the role:
Reporting to our Head of Delivery, the Scrum Master will be responsible for the management of a team to deliver agile services and solutions. You will educate others on scrum theory and practice, to deliver outstanding service to customers that meet our business objectives. This role is a 12 month contract
Your key duties include:
- Working closely with the Squad Lead, ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team
- Coordinate sprints, meetings and daily stand-ups
- Coordination of retrospectives and show cases
- Provide reporting and project management support from the team and in coordination with the rest of the program.
- Coaching team members within the broader team about agile frameworks, self-management and cross-functionality
- Working with Product Owners to prioritise new and existing requests and find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
- Removing barriers between stakeholders and the Scrum Team and resolving conflicts that impede the delivery of work to agreed timeframes
About You:
- Significant experience in equivalent role
- Experience working in an Agile Team environment, specifically using Jira
- Demonstrated experience in leading a scrum team in medium to large organisations preferably with exposure to membership organisations, education providers or other similar affiliations
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
