Job Summary
Under the supervision of the department leadership, the Billing / Accounting Clerk performs Quality
Control of Invoices. This includes cash receipts, data entry, general research, generating invoices
when needed, invoice research, researching and resolving billing issues, and other administrative
and project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
 Cash receipt entry, checks, ACHs, Credit cards.
 Quality Control of Invoices submitted by Project Directors
 Computing Tax on invoices with taxable states
 Using and understanding sales tax calculator
 Entering invoices when needed
 Reconciliations of billing offices
 Mailing, e-mailing and uploading of invoices
 Researching and Resolving unapplied payments
 Post invoices in General Ledgers
 Assisting Project Directors and Regional Managers
 Creating Lien Releases
 Other duties as assigned
Technical Skills: Must be proficient in MS Office specifically Excel is required, Google Mail, and
PC.
Communication Skills: Fluent English, both oral and written. (Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus)
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses
standard office equipment such as computers, phones, faxes, and e-filling. 
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to
talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand; use hand to finger, handle or
feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Required Skills and Experience
 Minimum of 2 years of billing experience (construction billing preferred)
 10 key by touch Proficient in MS office
***Must be able to work a minimum of 2 hours of overtime a day and 1-2 Saturdays to facilitate
closing as well as additional overtime throughout the month to meet invoicing deadlines.***
