We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Bar Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining a vibrant atmosphere for our patrons.
- Manage daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus and beverage programs
- Train and supervise bar staff to maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
- Monitor and analyze sales data to optimize bar performance and profitability
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create food and beverage pairings
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into bar offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- 3-5 years of experience in bar management or a related role
- Proven track record in staff supervision and training
- Expert knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation
- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- In-depth understanding of food and beverage pairing
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Bartending certification
- Food Safety certification
- Up-to-date knowledge of beverage industry trends
- Thorough understanding of local liquor laws and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
