Job Title: WarmanSelect Product Owner
Location: Bangalore
Purpose of Role: To support the Weir Minerals business and Engineering Systems provide timely, accurate support to our user base spanning across the globe. This role will work closely with colleagues and team members around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the process of creating an optimal user experience by adhering to industry best practices and conducting periodic assessments to identify areas for refinement and enhancement
- Continuously acquiring swift product knowledge is essential to stay updated with the latest product developments & innovations
- Defining the pump selection, configuration, pricing and quotation tool (SCPQ) architecture for pump selection.
- Develop and document maintenance functions for WarmanSelect.
- Delivery of services to ensure effective and timely resolution of incidents and problems.
- Performs effective classification and prioritisation of unresolved incidents and problems.
- Performs root cause analysis of unresolved incidents and implements appropriate work around action, show trends and potential problem areas, so that action can be taken to minimize the occurrence of incidents and to improve the process of problem reporting, analysis, and resolution.
- Engage and manage relevant stakeholders, including leadership team, Pump Technology Group, product managers, technical experts and decision makers.
- Keep stakeholders informed of the status of systems and services, by producing reports/registers on defect/problem reporting data extracted from the configuration management system.
- Review, alignment and update of release notes and technical support documentation.
- Facilitate seamless Integration and data flow with third party systems, such as Salesforce, SAP, Teamcenter, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication with other business units to ensure alignment and consistency with release documentation and training documentation
- Documents common issues for inclusion in to the internal and external Knowledge Base applications.
- Manage and conduct thorough testing of updates and application improvements.
- Support user access and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels for different departments and roles.
- Provide comprehensive user training sessions to ensure effective utilization and adoption of the SCPQ processes and tools
- Work closely with the Divisional IS&T Change Management team to develop process and training documentation and support development of online training courses
- Help implement security measures to safeguard the SCPQ tool and protect intellectual property.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and innovations within the CPQ solutions and integrated systems

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science) with one to three years related experience and/or training.
- Experience in a Product selection and configuration system (CPQ) is required.
- Programming experience beneficial but not required.
- SAP MM/PP and Sales Force experience desired but not required.
- Experience in Agile development is beneficial.
Language Skills:
- Ability to interpret input from users and management, converting the information to technical correspondence.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to communicate across cultures.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Pump Selection and configuration:
A good working knowledge of pump selection principles, including but not limited to pump curves, hydraulic principles, pump configuration, and opportunity management.
Sales and Engineering processes:
A good working knowledge of processes and workflows involved in product selection, configuration, quoting and order processing with a good knowledge of the systems involved.
Computer Skills:
MS Office, MS Access, Visual Studio, SQL, GIT, Issue and Project Tracking Software (JIRA/ServiceNow/Planview), Sales Force, SAP.
