Job Summary:
We are
seeking a talented and motivated Inside Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Role Summary Technical Experience -Ideally, candidates should have technical experience working with mechanically engineered or process equipment products or services Sales & Commercial Acumen -Prior experience in a sales function, preferably in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment Customer Engagement & Agility -Strong interpersonal skills to work with key clients and customers. System Knowledge -Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an asset Cross-Functional Collaboration -Due to the nature of the business, the ability to collaborate across countries and departments within a corporate environment is highly valued.
We are seeking a dynamic and
motivated Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in
identifying and nurturing customer relationships, with the primary goal of
creating sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in
both engineering and sales, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment.
As an Inside Sales Engineer,
you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining customer relationships,
taking orders for repeat business, and identifying new sales opportunities. You
will also play a crucial role in supporting our sales engineers by opening
doors to prospective customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who
is passionate about engineering and has a knack for sales.
What you’ll be doing
Identify Sales Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
through research, networking, loss accounts and outreach.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and
potential customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Securing Orders: Secure
orders for repeat business and simple new orders, ensuring customer
satisfaction and loyalty.
Support Sales Engineers: Assist sales engineers by setting up meetings with
prospective customers and providing them with necessary information and
support.
Market Research: Conduct
market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor
activities, and customer needs.
Sales Reporting: Maintain
accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline
status in the CRM system.
Collaboration: Work
closely with the sales colleagues to develop and implement effective sales
strategies.
Customer Feedback: Gather
and analyse customer feedback to improve services, and sales processes.
Training and Development: Continuously improve your knowledge of our products and
services, as well as sales techniques and industry best practices.
Who you’ll be working with
Our Inside Sales Engineering team plays a crucial role
in driving sales growth by exploring new opportunities for success. You will
collaborate closely with Sales Engineers to deliver our solutions to a diverse
customer base, identifying opportunities and building strong customer
relationships.
Skills/Experience:
-A degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
-Ability to make commercially astute decisions on the go and work comfortably with KPIs.
-Must be agile, problem-solving oriented, and capable of adapting to dynamic customer needs
