Job Description
Join our dynamic academic team! This role provides high-level administrative support for both the Dental and Podiatry Residency Programs — helping residents, faculty, and students stay organized, accredited, and on track. You’ll be the go-to contact for program operations, accreditation coordination (CPME & CODA), and communication between residents, directors, and hospital partners.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate day-to-day operations for both residency programs, including schedules, evaluations, and rotations.
Support accreditation compliance with CPME and CODA — track documentation, prepare for site visits, and maintain up-to-date records.
Manage recruitment and onboarding for residents and clerkship students.
Maintain confidential academic and credentialing files for faculty, residents, and students.
Assist with departmental meetings, reports, and projects for the Chair and Program Directors.
Organize events such as orientation, graduation, and educational sessions.
Act as a liaison between residents, faculty, and external partners to ensure smooth program communication.
Promote teamwork, diversity, and a positive, professional environment across all interactions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in a related field such as health sciences, business, public administration or education, or a combination of experience and education resulting in attainment of equivalent knowledge and abilities
Five years progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role including administration of an education program
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and E-mail programs
Excellent communication skills and professional presence with a customer service orientation.
Ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, government and community leaders, and the general public.
Ability to recognize and handle priority incoming calls.
Pleasant telephone demeanor.
A team oriented individual with the ability to deal effectively with department staff in the resolution of problems and the completion of task.
Ability to process and integrate complex information and appropriately exercise independent judgment.
Ability to organize and deal with workload that involves tight deadlines, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously as well as confidentially with minimal or no supervision.
Ability to organize large amounts of varied material, research policies and procedures, perform simple bookkeeping tasks, and transcribe dictated materials.
Ability to work independently on projects.
Preferred:
Knowledge of accreditation or credentialing
