This job assists to analyze business needs, document, test and communicate those needs to create new or existing systems and related database and interface systems. Work is performed under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop business requirements and related business rules based on business decisions.
• Work closely with business subject matter experts to define, train, implement, and support business requirements.
• Define requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and existing system documentation or procedures.
• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and translate high level information into details.
• Assist as a liaison between the business and technology teams.
• Work with software tools to gather and document requirements and rules.
• Create and execute database queries for analysis, data validation, data transfer and testing.
• Create and update test plans.
• Perform testing on projects and systems.
• Create, update and design data for use with automated testing scripts.
• Create and update process documentation.
• Assist with the organization and leading of meetings with business, technology, and quality assurance teams.
• Maintain punctual attendance in accordance with assigned work schedule at a Company approved work location.

Requirements

• Ability to assemble information, engage in analysis, develop opinions, and clearly express decisions using sound reasoning and judgment.
• Ability to communicate, both oral and written, in a polite, clear concise, and accurate format.
• Ability to comprehend and execute complex instructions.
• Ability to develop product knowledge.
• Ability to read, interpret, and react to documents such as written instructions, manuals, procedures, and policies.
