The Content Security (CS) team Is a part of the Studio Technology organization Inside The Walt Disney Studios supporting studio banners in protecting content creation through effective problem-solving, authentic partnerships, and technical expertise. Our team drives towards goals that include: a. fostering a culture of content security b. eliminating the risk of content leaks and c. tailoring security solutions to meet our partners’ needs.
We are looking for a Strategy Program Manager to drive the strategy and vision for the Content Security team. A successful candidate is someone who can step into and navigate a complex and high-paced environment of hardworking, friendly, and passionate people. You are a strategic thinker who is detail-oriented, an effective problem solver, and confident in your ability to influence and build strong relationships across technical and business stakeholders. You will be a key driver in advancing content security initiatives that safeguard our creative assets and strengthen the security culture across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with various functions in the organization including Business Advisory, Site Security, and Application & Cloud teams to help deliver Content Security services
- Work with the Sr Manager of Strategy to build a program including consistency of deliverables, anticipated project work, communications, and process for executing security assessments
- Lead end-to-end content security programs including Content Security Tech Talks for educating security concepts and industry trends to vendor partners
- Act as the key coordinator for the annual Content Security Summit including logistics and speaker coordination, driving technical education and adoption of security best practices across TWDC.
- Architect and execute a comprehensive security communications strategy targeted at all personnel handling content across studios and business units.
- Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with key TWDC security groups, leadership, vendor partners, and cross-functional business units to advance the content security agenda and enhance organizational reputation.
- Act as a key liaison to drive alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns and facilitating consensus to overcome project roadblocks and ensure program success.
- Serve as the primary interface for engineering teams to ensure effective deployment, integration, and ongoing adoption of content security technologies and tools by key stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and refine dashboards and Key Performance Indicators for monitoring program effectiveness, stakeholder response, and operational metrics.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and presentation of security metrics and program health reports quantitatively and qualitatively to senior leadership, translating complex security data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Facilitate technical solutioning and cross-functional alignment for any rising challenges, including eliminating technical roadblocks.
- Support team event planning and internal culture-building activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 + years of experience in technical program management within the technology and media sector
- Strong technical knowledge of content security principles, including but not limited to, encryption, secure content delivery, and SaaS/cloud security practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting technical communications for executive-level audiences.
- Tech-savvy and well-versed in Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional security programs requiring influence across technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience interfacing with engineering teams and security operations to implement and optimize security tools and technologies.
- Ability to work in person Monday – Thursday in Glendale, CA
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, $117,500 to $157,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
