Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3) to support the F-18 SLM program team in San Antonio, TX!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute as a Supply Chain Management team member in support of F-18 and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material
  • Conducts activities for economy of purchases
  • Conducts and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers
  • Conducts the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system
  • Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews
  • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues
  • Provides inputs of annual forecast and order replacement
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment
  • Ability to present to senior and executive management

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • 2+ years of experience using IGold
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Ability to obtain Medium Assurance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or better
  • Experience with Haystack, REDARS, SCARS, and Vipers
  • Fighter aircraft experience
  • Experience with LEAN principles

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel 10%-25%

Summary pay range: $80,750 - $99,750
