Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for various duties related to the government payor enrollment/re-enrollment of Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) facilities and billable providers. This individual maintains documentation related to the enrollment/re-enrollment of MCHS facilities and providers and submits applications for organizational providers, including lab, pharmacy, DME, optical, mobile units, IDTF’s, sleep labs, dental offices, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers. The Provider Enrollment Coordinator responds to inquiries from MCHS staff and outside payors regarding provider enrollment issues and collaborates with commercial payors on facility enrollment information.

Remote/hybrid position with occasional onsite work in Marshfield, WI required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred/Optional: Education in medical business office classes or related field.

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum Required: Two years’ experience in medical business office, health care setting or related field.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred/Optional:  Experience in Physician billing and enrollment/credentialing.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES 

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
