POSITION SUMMARY 

We are seeking a hands-on Warehousing Solutions Manager to help launch and operate our new Warehousing Solutions Division. This individual will focus on the day-to-day management of warehouse brokerage services, ensuring smooth execution between clients and third-party warehouse providers.

The Manager will work closely with company leadership to run the tactical operations — from coordinating warehouse bookings to supporting client requests and ensuring service quality. This role is ideal for someone with strong operational experience who can keep things organized, efficient, and customer focused.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Client Operations & Support

• Coordinate warehouse bookings and manage client requests for storage, fulfillment, and distribution services.
• Match client needs with approved warehouse providers based on service capabilities, geographic coverage, and capacity.
• Track inventory movements, shipment flows, and client-specific SLAs.
• Partner with sales and account teams to provide warehousing solution details and support onboarding of new clients.

Partner Management

• Serve as the main point of contact for contracted warehouse partners.
• Monitor and report on warehouse provider performance, escalating service failures or recurring issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date warehouse partner database, including performance scorecards and capacity tracking.

Operational Execution

• Manage workflows and documentation related to warehouse assignments and service requests.
• Support resolution of operational issues (e.g., billing discrepancies, delayed shipments, service breakdowns).
• Generate reporting and dashboards on utilization, SLA compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the overall customer experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, account management, carrier relations, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Provide actionable feedback on client needs, partner performance, and service delivery to leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing and enablement teams to provide content and insights for go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or 3PL operations. (Or combination) 
• Hands-on operational experience coordinating warehousing or fulfillment services.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with logistics/warehouse systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• SLA compliance (response times, partner performance, and issue resolution).
• Accuracy and timeliness of warehouse-client matching and bookings.
• Client satisfaction and support feedback.
• Process efficiency and reporting accuracy.

SCOPE OF ROLE

This role is focused on operational execution and client/partner management. Strategic business-building responsibilities will remain with company leadership, including:

• Designing the overall warehousing business model (pricing, margin structure, and service design).
• Developing and negotiating contracts with new warehouse providers.
• Expanding the national warehouse partner network and strategic partnerships.
• Driving GTM strategy, marketing positioning, and broader commercial initiatives.
• Long-term P&L ownership and scaling strategy for the division.
