About the job you are considering:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA PTP Solution Architect to lead the strategic design, delivery, and optimization of Procure-to-Pay (PTP) solutions within the S/4HANA ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving digital procurement transformation, aligning technology with business goals, and ensuring scalable, future-ready architectures across global deployments.

 

Your role:

  • Architect and lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA PTP solutions across all phases: discovery, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Define and implement best-in-class procurement and invoice management processes using S/4HANA innovations.
  • Own the solution design for key modules: Sourcing & Procurement (MM-PUR), Inventory Management (MM-IM), and Accounts Payable (FI-AP).
  • Provide expert-level guidance on integration with adjacent modules (FI, SD, PP, TM) and external platforms (Ariba, Fieldglass).
  • Lead fit-gap analysis and solutioning workshops to align SAP capabilities with business requirements.
  • Develop and validate functional specifications for RICEFW objects; collaborate with development and Basis teams to ensure technical alignment.
  • Drive digital procurement initiatives such as touchless processing, supplier collaboration, and real-time analytics.
  • Oversee data migration strategy and execution for vendor master, purchasing documents, and inventory data.
  • Mentor project teams and client stakeholders on S/4HANA PTP capabilities, roadmap, and transformation opportunities.
  • Ensure solution compliance with global standards, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-deployment stabilization.

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ - 15+ years of SAP experience, including 8+ years as a Solution Architect in SAP S/4HANA PTP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of S/4HANA data models for vendors, materials, and procurement documents.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Activate methodologies and global template rollouts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement scenarios: direct, indirect, subcontracting, consignment, STOs, asset procurement, and account-assigned POs.
  • Ability to design scalable, integrated solutions that support business growth and innovation.
