The Oven Operator is responsible for ensure the efficient operation of the cone ovens and other production equipment.
Responsibilities:- Keep ovens at optimal operation capacity by solving day-to-day mechanical/operating issues with minimal scrap
 - Adjust machines according to quality data provided by Quality Assurance
 - Record appropriate oven production reports
 - Assist in conducting product quality checks and documenting accordingly
 - Assist maintenance in maintaining mechanical operation of equipment
 - Operate Robotic Palletizer
 - Operate Case Erector
 - Other duties as assigned as supervisor
 
- Able to read, understand, and strictly follow written procedures
 - Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
 - Must be able to detect audible tones and alarms
 - Must be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanliness
 - Able to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary
 - Must be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members
 - Follow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervision
 - Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
 - This position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting
 - Required to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per day
 - Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb, reach and regularly use stairs
 
- English comprehension skills
 - Basic computer literacy skills
 - Mechanical aptitude a plus
