About the Role: As a Maintenance Support Specialist at Central Moloney, you’ll be the organizational backbone of our maintenance team—coordinating schedules, tracking parts, managing work orders, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role blends communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail to support efficient operations, minimize downtime, and keep our facilities performing at their best. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update maintenance logs, service records, and work orders.
- Track and manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs for equipment.
- Generate and distribute reports related to maintenance activities and costs.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Monitor compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in preparing for audits and inspections by maintaining accurate records.
- Provide general administrative support to the maintenance team.
Additional Skills/Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of maintenance operations and equipment terminology is a plus.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Lifting: Able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Environment: Office-based work with occasional exposure to industrial environments, including loud noise and temperature variations.
Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, and focus adjustment).
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and utilize PPE as required.
