Come dance with us! Plan and teach preschool and/or youth dance classes for the Fall, Winter, and Spring for up to twelve (12) kids at a time. Classes currently include Gymnastics, Creative Movement/Stretching, and Tumbling - with the opportunity to expand offerings throughout the year. Must possess ability to provide a safe and encouraging class environment with age-appropriate activities. Looking for an instructor with a love for teaching dance and working with youth!
 
Hours of Work
Variable hours - primarily weekdays between 10-11:30am and/or 4pm-8pm depending on class and age group.

Position Duties

  • Ability to plan and lead youth dance classes including gymnastics, creative movement, stretching, and tumbling to youth ages 3-10.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and program participants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in problem-solving and to respond promptly and effectively to customer service needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of gymnastic experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check completed by the City of Auburn.
  • Ability to complete First Aid/CPR.
