Supply Clerk na Uintah Basin Healthcare

Job Summary: Responsible for accurately receiving all shipments and stocking the products in the warehouse. Required to complete daily receipts of all goods in the computer. Helps maintain par levels on stocked goods. Delivers specialty products and keeps the warehouse clean and organized. Works as an important part of the materials department team. Responsibilities are interchangeable with supply clerks. The job consists of much lifting, bending, and walking. Performs any duties as needed or assigned by the manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
• Delivers supplies and equipment to the user departments in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintains all areas of materials storage in a neat and organized manner.
• Restocks utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation, and proper location of stock items.
• Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility.
• Collects patient supply charges for processing.
• Requires minimal supervision in the performance of job duties.
• Understands how to prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties.
• Is a self-starter; initiates the meeting of responsibilities without prompting.
• Demonstrates the values of the team concept on a consistent basis.

Professional Requirements

• Excellent attendance record.
• Wears appropriate clothing for job functions. Wears ID badge.
• Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, administration, and staff.

• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
