Job Title: European Leadership Development (LD) Coordinator – H&T
Location: Pernes-les-Fontaines, France
Dates: February 15th – August 15th
Reports to: Leadership Development Manager (LDM) – Florent Catry
Position Summary
The European Leadership Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the, coordination, and execution for New Leader and BLUE training events in Europe. He also has ownership on the planning and execution of the New to Europe training program. This role is a key member of the Leadership Development (LD) and part of the Mentor Team, working closely with the H&T LD Lead and the U.S. Field Training Specialist to ensure smooth and effective training operations.
The coordinator will manage logistics, maintain up-to-date training materials, mentor a team of field leaders, and contribute to broader leadership development goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a professional presence, and demonstrated experience in leadership, mentoring, and trip leading.
Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination & Logistics
Lead the planning and coordination of all Pernes-based New Leader Trainings (NLTs) and European BLUE training sessions.
Collaborate on the development and refinement of BLUE coordination materials for upcoming seasons.
Facilitate NTE trainings and ensure NTE materials (e.g., Quick Guides, training videos, internal communications) are regularly updated and accurate.
Work with the Scheduling Team to monitor New-to-Europe calendars and communicate updates to all LD team members involved in the program.
Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor and coach to a group of 10–15 New Leaders, providing one-on-one support and leadership development guidance.
Conduct required check-ins, including PTTCs, Mid-Season Check-ins, and End-of-Season Reviews.
Support field staff with performance strategies, leadership challenges, and best practice implementation.
Deliver coaching using structured frameworks such as LAUGH, BIR, and feedback models.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Maintain clear and consistent communication within Leadership Development team , and with other departments.
Provide timely regional updates to the LD Management team.
Additional Responsibilities (As Applicable)
Participate in the Field Staff Performance Response Team.
Support delivery of up to two New Leader Trainings as part of the Training Team.
May be part of the interviewing and hiring process team for new leaders.
Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the Leadership Development department as needed.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally as a high-performing Trip Leader (top 75%).
Minimum of 1 year mentoring or H&T experience is strongly preferred.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead group training sessions confidently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
