Key Responsibilities:
➢ Perform daily perpetual inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
➢ Complete all goods-in and goods-out tasks promptly and precisely.
➢ Ensure all stock is correctly labelled/barcoded and storage locations are updated
in real time.
➢ Pick, pack, and process Central Parts orders for internal van deliveries, depot
replenishments, and external OTC customer sales to a high standard.
➢ Maintain depot and van stock to pre-set levels, ensuring availability and accuracy.
➢ Process internal and external returns, including warranty items, following
company procedures.
➢ Monitor stock and maintain appropriate levels of packaging materials.
➢ Assist with franchise-specific stock checks and participate in annual stock audits.
➢ Uphold Health & Safety standards by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
➢ Support the Parts Controller team during peak periods.
➢ Learn and develop skills across all Central Parts functions as part of cross-training initiatives.
Education & Qualifications
➢ Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (minimum requirement).
Experience
Essential:
➢ Previous experience in a similar warehouse, logistics, or parts handling role.
➢ A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the business.
Desirable:
➢ Forklift truck experience (training can be provided).
➢ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
➢ Experience in the transport refrigeration or related industry.
➢ Experience using Kerridge or similar inventory systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
➢ Familiarity with the Transport Refrigeration/Tail Lift industry (advantageous).
➢ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
➢ Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
➢ Flexible and self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
➢ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
➢ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
