Relationship Manager
The Relationship Manager is responsible for multiple lines of business or industry segments for commercial entities or professional firms with more complex treasury management needs. This job's primary focus is on sourcing new business opportunities to sell depository and cash management products and services to targeted prospective clients. Under moderate supervision, this job is responsible for sourcing, establishing, and developing profitable new business banking client relationships, as well as expanding and retaining existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Executes integrated sales and relationship strategies that are in alignment with the enterprise business plan and cash management goals and objectives.
- Maximizes deposit growth and cash management accounts through partnerships with enterprise specialists.
- Partners with other organizational sales channels and divisions to ensure ongoing and appropriate communication supporting overall client and enterprise objectives, providing a seamless handoff resulting in a superior client experience.
- Performs direct calls to clients and prospects and maintains client and prospective client customer relationship management database.
- Ensures client satisfaction and relationship profitability.
- Uses sound judgment in qualifying potential clients/deals as well as recommending the right financial solutions/products for the client.
- Adheres to internal control policies such as the account opening protocols of accurate collection, completion and updating of all required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Relationship Manager in the financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex account analysis statements to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize cash flow.
- Build and maintained strong client relationships through strategic networking and consultative business development, resulting in increased portfolio growth.
- Deep understanding of Treasury Management products and services.
