About your new Career
The growing Accounting team at The Lewis Group of Companies has an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk within our talented Fixed Assets team at the Lewis corporate office in Upland, Ca. It's a wonderful chance to join the growing Lewis accounting team where you will not only add your value to our organization, but we will give you the support you need and the training you require to advance your skills and career.
Some of your work will include:
- Record the cost of fixed assets that have been newly acquired
- Prepare fixed asset journal entries
- Track existing fixed assets for assigned properties
- Dispose of fixed assets
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger to fixed asset system
- Partner with properties on capital improvement projects
Skills for your success
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines
- Any background in the property management or real estate industries is a plus
- A keen eye for accuracy while dealing with multiple tasks
- Having a self-starter work ethic
This is a Mon-Fri, in-office position, located at the Upland, CA Corporate office.
