Summary/Objective
Performs tasks with initiative within a small team, including, but not limited to cycle counting, material movement, verification, as well as an initiative-taker of miscellaneous functions when requested. Actively participates in a continuous improvement culture, driving towards World Class Inventory Management standards with green initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators
•Individual will be monitored daily for accuracy within their cycle counts submitted.
•People should have a daily number of counts completed to meet quarterly goals.
•People will maintain a safe environment to measure departmental goals for best practice.
Essential Functions
•Required daily cycle counts that are set up by the Cycle Count Administrator.
•Expected to maintain an important level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility.
•Report non-conforming products if found while counting.
•Inventory disposal of all non-conformance material with shelve life exceeding standards.
•Keeping work area clean and organized prior to end of shift.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Ability to utilize scales for counts.
•Required to use a calculator and have general mathematic skills.
•Must be able to lift 40 lbs. as part of the job function.
•Must possess forklift certification and be willing to drive a forklift daily, use pallet jack or climb a ladder.
•Excellent attendance and dependability following policy standards.
•Maintain time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize.
•Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to have positive interaction with individuals at all levels in the organization.
•Computer knowledge to manage email notifications and input data entry into the system utilizing a tablet or scanner.
Education & Experience
•H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
•6 months to 1-year forklift experience required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The
employee is exposed to outside weather conditions at the manufacturing site. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and listen. This position is highly active and requires standing for up to 8 hours, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employees in this position are required to wear steel or composite-toe boots or shoes when present or working within the manufacturing areas of the facility.
