Position Summary: The Parking Supervisor position is a seasonal role responsible for all parking and transportation operations at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort. This leadership role reports to the Parking Manager and responsibilities include but are not limited to; managing parking areas and shuttle buses (on and off property), resolving guests issues, coordinating single occupant transaction fee, managing snow removal & runoff control, driving parking lot shuttles and light machinery (license required), opening and closing of resort, working with outside contract labor companies, hiring, training and supervising staff, timecard management, supply ordering and budget management, development and training opportunities.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for all parking operations, fee collection and shuttle service.
Handle high volume skier days and keep the parking lot safe and accessible.
Hiring, training, and documentation for a seasonal team of workers.
Drive company vehicles and guest shuttles.
Manage off-site parking and 3rd party bus operators.
Communicate with all departments to ensure their employees can get to work.
Must be able to do basic math & be comfortable handling cash.
Sets the example to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

This position is a seasonal position and may have fluctuations in hours worked based upon overall business volumes.
Specific Job Skills:
High school degree or equivalent.
Driver’s license and the ability to pass MVR/BG to company standards.
Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
Physical Demands:
Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing.
Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment.
Concentrated reading and writing.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Variation in temperature from hot to cold.
Schedule:
Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7am-5pm
Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 6am-6pm
This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
The proposed hiring rate of $26+ actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time
