We’re looking for an experienced and driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with a proven track record in used car operations — including appraisals, inventory management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the used car inventory, including appraising, acquiring, and pricing vehicles.
Oversee reconditioning, merchandising, and presentation to ensure top retail readiness.
Develop strategies to maximize gross profit while maintaining inventory turn and market competitiveness.
Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth deal flow and customer satisfaction.
Source vehicles through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchases.
Train, motivate, and manage the used car sales team to achieve performance goals.
Analyze market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of automotive dealership management experience required (Used Car or Pre-Owned Manager experience preferred).
Proven success in inventory acquisition and pricing strategies.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and appraisal abilities.
Experience with vAuto, CDK, or similar inventory management systems preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
