Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at our Irvine, CA office. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role is key to maintaining and improving the company's IT systems, infrastructure, and support operations. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, innovative, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, ticketing systems, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues for end users across the organization.
- Administer and manage cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Support and maintain cybersecurity protocols and data protection policies.
- Administer user accounts, devices, and permissions in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with IT infrastructure tasks, including network monitoring, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Lead or support internal IT projects and process improvements.
- Train users and create documentation for technical tools and best practices.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot company servers to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
- Respond promptly to server shutdowns, crashes, or service interruptions to restore operations with minimal downtime.
- Identify root causes of server failures and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage system alerts, error logs, and notifications to proactively address potential shutdown risks.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks on both physical and virtual servers.
- Collaborate with network administrators and IT management to ensure proper server configurations and backups.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, data protection, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, TalkDesk, Krisp, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and punctuality.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $26/hr to $30/hr (based on experience).
