Position Purpose
Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive Guidance and Counseling program aligned with the district’s Strategic Plan and commitment to academic excellence. Oversees Related Services that promote student wellness, school climate, and academic success. Provides strategic leadership to staff, enhancing professional competencies through targeted development in guidance curriculum, student wellness, violence and suicide prevention, and crisis response. Supervises Crisis Response teams and coordinates district-wide prevention education initiatives. Directs system-wide initiatives across Student Engagement, Restorative and Responsive Services, Student Discipline, and Student Wellness. Ensures instructional programs are aligned with district goals, support student achievement, and foster career readiness. Collaborates with Campus Principals to build leadership capacity and improve student outcomes.
