Join our maintenance team today.  The Maintenance Worker will perform routine maintenance and daily operation of the school building, grounds and equipment.

As the Maintenance Worker, your day will include:

-Performing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other related work

-Following appropriate safety guidelines in completing duties

-Operating maintenance equipment effectively and safely (saws, skidsteer, power tools, hand tools)

-Performing snow removal (plow truck, snow blower, salter)

-Performing lawn maintenance (mowing, weed wacking, trimming bushes, spreading mulch) 

-Interacting professionally with all stakeholders including the public, vendors, and maintains 

-Accepts constructive criticism and uses supervision appropriately

-Performs other related duties as required and assigned by Safety Engineer 

Qualifications for the role:

-Basic knowledge in trades such as drywall, electric, plumbing and carpentry preferred

-Ability to operate any equipment pertaining to painting, scaffolds, ladders, etc.

-Valid driver’s license required with continued automobile insurance

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs

-Walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling and lifting will be required.

Competitive Hourly Rate starting at  $19.96 / hr (actual rate is dependent on internal equity and prior experience) 

Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
