About the Role:

The Dining Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of dining services within a retail trade environment. This position is responsible for overseeing daily dining activities, managing staff performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality. The Dining Supervisor will coordinate with kitchen and service teams to optimize workflow and enhance the overall dining experience for customers. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a dining or food service environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management.
  • Experience working in a retail trade or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management software.
  • Leadership training or management coursework.
  • Multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse customer and staff populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the dining area.

  • Maintain inventory levels of dining supplies and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare reports on dining operations, including customer feedback and staff performance metrics.
