Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on plumbing experience, strong technical aptitude, and a customer-first mindset. In this role, you’ll perform troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and inspections, with a focus on backflow prevention devices and pipe systems.

Key Responsibilities


•Shut off steam, water, gases, or liquids from pipe sections using valve keys or wrenches.
•Perform routine and emergency troubleshooting, service, and repairs of backflow prevention devices.
•Diagnose assembly failures and complete accurate repairs.
•Inspect and test systems and pipelines using gauges, hydrostatic testing, or other methods.
•Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including controls, pipes, and fixtures.
•Cut and fit openings in structures to accommodate pipes or fittings.
•Record, prepare, and submit test findings and reports to customers and local authorities.
•Maintain detailed service tickets and work reports.
•Provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support follow-ups or quotes.
•Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and tools according to standards.
•Follow OSHA and company safety requirements at all times.
•Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•1–5 years of plumbing experience.
•Washington Backflow Assembly Tester Certification (BAT) and/or Washington Journey-Level Plumber License (WA only).
•Strong mechanical and technical skills, with ability to use basic hand and power tools.
•Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and customer service orientation.
•Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and safety standards.

Physical & Work Demands

•Lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 110 lbs occasionally with assistance.
•Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and working overhead.
•Regular use of ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
•Ability to walk long distances and work on uneven terrain.
•Frequent mathematical calculations and detailed reporting.
