POSITION
The Head of International Product at Allspring plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm’s ex-US product strategy, with a focus on delivering long-term value for both clients and the organisation. As a senior leader you are responsible for optimising the ex-US product portfolio, aligning it with the increasingly complex and solutions-oriented needs of institutional and wealth clients across international markets.
This role requires a strategic thinker with deep investment knowledge and a strong commercial mindset. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, influential leader who can manage cross-functional stakeholders, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, competitive products across diverse geographies.
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and implement a global product and asset strategy that aligns with Allspring’s long-term vision and regional market needs.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch and commercial optimisation.
- Continuously assess and refine the international product suite to maximise profitability, client relevance, and market competitiveness.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams including Investments, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Analyse global market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and asset optimization.
- Represent Allspring in senior-level client meetings and investment committees, articulating product strategy and gathering feedback to inform future development and product optimization.
- Drive revenue growth through product innovation, pricing strategy, and close collaboration with global sales teams.
- Partner with the distribution and marketing teams to ensure products are optimally positioned in the market to ensure maximum commercial impact.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Contribute to the wider business through involvement in key governance and leadership committees relating to the international business
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management, with at least 5 years in product strategy or development roles.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing international product teams.
- Demonstrated track record of success, having worked with senior leadership and across regions to identify growth opportunities, drive innovation, optimise product portfolios, develop strategic plans, and maximise commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and localisation requirements.
- Deep understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory framework with strong connections with local advisers, trade bodies and competitors
- Ability to navigate complex organisations and drive cross-functional alignment.
- High emotional intelligence and people leadership skills; able to build and sustain a high-performance culture.
