Description

Centex Technologies is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the Air Force Civil Engineering (CE) Systems within the AFLCMC BES organization. This role involves full-spectrum configuration management and Capability Delivery Team (CDT) services, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the software lifecycle.


This position requires

  • US Citizen 
  • Active United States Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage configuration change processes and documentation.
  • Administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and customize workflows.
  • Conduct user access audits across multiple platforms.
  • Support the Change Review Board (CRB) and coordinate change implementation plans.
  • Prepare and distribute data packages for customer review.
  • Track configuration changes and expedite workflow progress.
  • Provide version control and administrative support for contract documentation.
  • Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
  • Ensure compliance with USAF policies on technical data handling.
  • Oversee software tracking, version control, and release management.
  • Lead process improvements and provide team guidance.

Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • MA/MS degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Agile environments using Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
  • Ability to work independently on high-visibility, mission-critical programs.
  • AI Assist technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with engineering practices and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
