- Prepares purchase orders and/or bid requests.
- Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, maintenance, support, licenses, delivery, and inventory.
- Maintenance of the vendor list for all operations supplies
- Research and competitively price all supply and equipment requests
- Complete purchase orders for all requests and obtains the necessary authorizations.
- Maintain all supply inventory, track usage, and forecast trends.
- Provide monthly usage, cost, and profitability reporting
- Comply with company's policies, procedures, and purchasing standards
- Work overtime as required by Operations schedule.
- Actively manage complex distributor and customer needs and communicate as necessary to the appropriate party
- Follow-up and problem solving for Purchasing related issues between departments
- Effectively communicate with other departments regarding Purchasing issues
- Deliver on the company's commitment to Professional Excellence by communicating effectively with both external and internal customers
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
- Demonstrate safe working behaviors and conforms to all applicable Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards.
